How to Use the Color Palette Generator
Finding the right color combination is key to great design. This tool makes it easy by using color theory to generate palettes for you.
- Pick a Base Color: Click the color square to open a color picker, or type a HEX code directly in the text field.
- View the Palettes: The tool will instantly generate different types of color palettes based on your selection.
- Copy a Color: Simply click on any color swatch to copy its HEX code to your clipboard.
- Export Palette: Click "Export Palette" to reveal options for exporting the currently displayed palettes in CSS, SCSS, or JSON formats.
- Save Palette: Click "Save Palette" to store the current palettes in your browser's local storage for future access under "Recent Palettes".
- Recent Palettes: Your saved palettes will appear here. Click on a saved palette to re-load it into the generator.
- Clear History: Remove all saved palettes from your history.
